Clare Scout Centre was officially opened on September 28, 2008.
It is located in beautiful surroundings in Ballygriffy Woods near the village of Ruan in County Clare, about 7 miles north of Ennis.
The centre is surrounded by woodland and natural beauty and is located on the Mid-Clare Way, on the edge of the Burren. The centre is an ideal venue for camping, hill walking, or to use as a base camp while exploring the beauty of the Burren and the rugged West Coast of Ireland.
